Below are the Local Rules for Calderfields Golf Club, which should be observed at all times. Dress Code |

Out of Bounds * All fences and hedges forming the boundary of the course Proceed under Rule 27 Note: A ball, out of bounds, over a fence or hedge forming the boundary of the course must not be retrieved. |

Water Hazards * The lake on the 1st, 8th, 10th, and 16th holes. * The ditch in front of the 16th green. Proceed under Rule 26-1a or 26-1c Note: Where there is reasonable evidence that a ball has been lost in the pond (in front of the 8th Tee), whilst playing the 16th hole, a replacement should be dropped within 2-club lengths, behind the pond, to the right of the 16th fairway. Lateral Water Hazards Proceed under rule 26-1a or 26-1c |

Proceed under rule 24-2 * If a ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and an immovable obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green and within two club-lengths of the ball intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may take relief as follows: The ball must be lifted and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay that (a) is not nearer the hole, (b) avoids intervention and (c) is not in a hazard or on a putting green. The ball may be cleaned when lifted. |

* Protection of young trees, identified clearly by white painted markings on the trunk. If such a tree interferes with a player’s stance, or the area of his intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedure described in rule 24-2b. |
