TRANSPORTATION POLICY FOR JUNIORS
Overview
- It is the responsibility of parents to arrange the transport of their children to and from the nominated venue.
- It is not the responsibility of the Club, volunteers or P.G.A. Professionals to transport children.
Exceptional Circumstances
- There are a limited number of occasions when the distance to travel necessitates a more flexible approach: eg.
- Parents/Guardians are wholly responsible in all cases for travel arrangements but this may include a private arrangement for transportation by a third party.
- The Club accepts no liability in this whatsoever.
- The Club cannot be held responsible for effectively monitoring or maintaining records relating to the licensing, insurance or the condition of individual private vehicles which may be used by Club Officials, volunteers or Parents/Boys (who may be carrying other boys as passengers), in connection with arrangements for transportation to Club Junior Golf events.
Late Collection
CALDERFIELDS GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB believes that it is important that there is clear guidance in place if a parent/guardian is late to collect a child from the agreed venue.
If attempts to contact both the parent and the emergency contact person have failed, then common sense dictates that a County Official may have to provide transport.
