CODE  OF  CONDUCT  FOR  PARENTS

To  assist  the  CLUB, parents  should  :

  1. Take  an  interest  in  their  child’s  activity  and  progress  and  be  supportive

 

  1. Introduce themselves to the adults involved in the supervision of all Club junior activities, spend some time talking to the Junior Committee members, P.G.A. Professional Coach and the Management of Calderfields  and the lead officer for Child Protection

 

  1. Obtain any good practice guidance for children from the Club and go through it with your child

 

  1. Be punctual when dropping off and picking up your children for/from coaching, competitions and matches.

 

  1. Take  an  interest  in  whom  your  son / daughter  is  playing  with
  1. Have  clear  lines  of  communication  to  keep  up  with  your  child’s  progress

 

  1. Ensure that the Club Organiser of an event has an emergency contact number for you when you are away from the club – a mobile would be preferable, and that you leave your mobile on so that you can be contacted in an emergency

 

    • Advise the Club if your child has particular needs (allergies, physical disabilities, learning disabilities) to ensure your child is provided for in the best way possible by completing the Junior Player Profile Form and Match Consent Forms.
